Konopka VCL Controls for 64bit IDE

Hi Ray,

We are offcourse very eager to know when we can expect the 64bit install so we can you use your Controls in the 64bit IDE of Delphi 12.3

Any info would be nice.

Hi Ray,

Version 8.0 of the KSVC has come out, really nice.

It says in the announcement that it should also work in the 64bit IDE.

And in Get-It in the 64 bit IDE it now indeed says it’s installed.

However no controls are locatable for KSVC in the IDE…

 

Please help.

I got them to work, but i had to add the BPL files manually.

I had to ‘install components’, go to

C:\Users\Public\Documents\Embarcadero\Studio\23.0\CatalogRepository\KonopkaControls-290-8.0_For12.3\Bin\Win64

and install both BPLs from there.

I guess there’s something wrong in the installation script.

The path for the source was already correct in the 64BIT IDE.

We’re aware of a problem with the GetIt package installation of KSVC 8 into the 64bit 12.3 IDE (our fault, not Ray’s) – and we’re working to fix that now.
