All products have been updated to include support for Embarcadero RAD Studio 12 Athens. The new builds are free to all registered users of the CodeSite 5, DropMaster 2, or Inspex 2, respectively.
As with all of Raize Software’s products, to get the latest version of the software, simply use the original download instructions that you received from Raize Software when purchasing the product. If your original download instructions reference a link that starts with “http://www.raize.com/Downloads…”; or if you no longer have your original download instructions; or if you did not purchase directly from Raize Software, please send an email to sales@raize.com and request that the instructions be sent to you. Please include your name, company name (if applicable), and product serial number in your email.
it’s wonderfull that these 3 products are compatible with RAD Studio 12.
Unfortunatelly, the “Bonus Radiant Shapes v1.5” do make problems when RAD 12 is installed along with RAD 11.3 – installing it on RAD 12 renders the BRS unusable on RAD 11.3.
If I reinstall BRS on RAD 11.3 it renders the BRS unusable on RAD 12 …
Any suggestions?
Hi Victor,
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. As you may know Embarcadero acquired Radiant Shapes from Raize Software back in 2015, and as such, this issue should be reported to Embarcadero.
From what you describe, it sounds to me like they messed up the LIBSUFFIX of the runtime package. For example, the RAD Studio 12 package should have a LIBSUFFIX of 290. RAD Studio 11 uses a suffix of 280. If the RAD Studio 12 package was created with the 280 suffix instead, then that would cause the problems you describe.
