New 4.0 Release for RAD Studio 11 Alexandria and RAD Studio 12 Athens!
Are you tired of scrolling through the pages of the BDS, Delphi, and C++Builder component palettes looking for the right page? If so, then download and try out the Raize Palette Menu expert, which adds a new menu to the selected IDE that provides instant access to any page on the component palette.
The new 4.0 version for RAD Studio 11 and 12 includes several enhancements:
- Support for light and dark IDE styles
- Import and Export functionality for easy migration of palette categories to other computers
- Updated palette menu icon including High DPI version

The screen shot below shows the Raize Palette Menu in action. When the menu is invoked, the currently available component palette pages are presented in user-defined categories.
RAD Studio Users
If you are using Embarcadero RAD Studio (or an earlier version of CodeGear RAD Studio or Borland Developer Studio), in addition to the Palette menu item on the main menu, a new Raize Palette Menu tool button is added to the IDE Tool Palette window as shown in the following screen shot.
Custom Categories
The Raize Palette Menu support defining custom categories for grouping your various component palette pages. Simply select the “Edit Categories…” menu item. You can then group the palette pages in any way your desire. In fact, you can even have pages appear in multiple categories as illustrated in the Data Access page below.
Download Instructions
- Download the appropriate zip file from the list below for the desired IDE.
- Unzip the file to extract the appropriate design package (RaizePaletteMenuNNN.bpl) for your version of RAD Studio, Delphi, or C++Builder.
- Install the extracted package into the appropriate IDE by closing all files and then selecting the Component > Install Packages menu item.
- Click on the Add button and select the appropriate design package. After closing all dialog boxes, the new Palette menu item will be available.
